Eva Green in Talks to Star as Evil Goddess in Noam Murro's Epic Sequel '300: BATTLE OF ARTEMISIA'!

Eva Green is reportedly interested in playing the title role in Noam Murro's 300: Battle of Artemisia. The movie, a sequel to Zack Snyder's 300 is based on the story of Greek General Themistocles, who defends Greece against Persian tyrant invaders in a battle that played out simultaneously with the Battle of Thermopylae depicted in 300 which was based on Frank Miller's 1998 comic book miniseries. Green is best known for her portrayal of Bond Girl Vesper Lynd in 2006's Casino Royale. The actress also recently appeared in Perfect Sense as well as on the television series Camelot. The epic follow-up to the 2006 movie which sees Gerard Butler & Lena Headey appear in cameos sees the Persian king-turned-god Xerxes [allegedly still being played by Rodrigo Santoro] lead an army against Greek forces. A male lead hasn't been found for the movie, but Green would play a ruthless goddess who persuades Xerxes to gather his army and helps them go into battle according to the Hollywood Reporter.
