Darren Aronofsky is moving to TV, well at least briefly. The director will direct 'Hobgoblin' a Pilot in development over at HBO. The pilot is being developed by the excellent author Michael Chabon [Werewolves in their Youth] and his wife, Ayelet Waldman, who i am sure is lovely too. THR offer up the following info: The Pilot is based on "a group of con men and magicians who use their skills of deception to help defeat Hitler and the Germans during WWII." mm kind of cheesy really, try trick your way out of the Holocaust. Aronofsky, Chabon and Waldman will executive produce the pilot with John Lesher and Adam Kassan. I don't know what I am more intrigued by, the Pilot or Aronofsky's name being an anagram for 'Nerdy Anoraks.'
