Warner Bros is pushing ahead with a new standalone Batman picture with Ben Affleck reprising his role from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Warner Bros. chairman & CEO Kevin Tsujihara confirmed at CinemaCon that Affleck will direct & star in a stand-alone Batman movie. "It set up a great foundation for our DC slate, which includes at least 10 movies through 2020," said Tsuijhara. "I’m also excited to know that we will be working with Ben Affleck on a stand-alone Batman movie." The project has been in the works for a while as it was earlier revealed that Affleck would co-write the picture with comic scribe Geoff Johns.
