In a recent press junket for The Dark Knight Rises, director Christopher Nolan praised Anne Hathaway's portrayal of Catwoman stating: "Anne is incredibly precise and articulate about the psychology of the character. She’s really built it from the ground up, it’s just a delight to watch her perform, the things she does in those heels is not to be taken lightly." Nolan added that he feels Hathaway should continue her performance as Catwoman. "For me, Gotham and these characters, I’m done. I’ve told our story and I’m moving on." Access Hollywood confronted the director about Hathaway having her own Catwoman spin-off, Nolan replied: "I certainly think she deserves it, she’s incredible." The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway & hits theaters & IMAX 20th of this month.
