"THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" First TEASER VIDEOS Reveal link to "BATMAN: KNIGHTFALL"

Three Batman: The Dark Knight Rises teaser videos have been released online via YouTube. The teasers were released by "The Fire Rises", the same user account that debuted the first image of Tom Hardy as "Bane" via twitter. The first video titled "GCN" [Gotham City News] [viewed more than 134,000 times] features Anthony Michael Hall [who played newscaster "Mike Engel" in The Dark Knight] as a Newscaster & flashes to The Fire Rises facebook page [owned by Warner Bros]. The second video is called "Outbreak" and features the very same chanting as the movie's official Web site plus some very Guantanamo Bay undertones as an Abu Ghraib-qsue type prison is revealed. A third video titled "419" features scenes of devastation and the sight of a massive skyscraper burning with v.o from police officers. The Dark Knight Rises is currently filming and will hit theaters July 20th 2012. Hit the jump to check out the Videos.

What appears to be happening is a live broadcast covering an Arkham Asylum outbreak. As far as authenticity EW contacted Warner Bros. for a comment, but a rep for the studio simply noted that they had no comment "at this time," the "GCN" video ends by flashing a URL that takes you to a Facebook page for The Fire Rises, which features a political-campaign advertisement staring actor Matthew Modine who was recently confirmed as signing on to the film to play a corrupt politician named "Nixon". Whats interesting is the connection to Bane, in the comic book storyline "Knightfall," Bane staged an Arkham Asylum breakout and this would also explain the large amount of Villains already involved in the final chapter of the trilogy.
