Deadline report that Drew Pearce has been drafted in to write the script for Iron Man 3 based on the strength of his recent draft of Runaways for Marvel. It was initially reported that Iron Man 3 director Shane Black, would write the script but Deadline state that Pearce will be in fact starting fresh but is set to work closely with Black. Meanwhile Michelle Monaghan recently told Collider that if asked she "would jump at the chance to be part of the movie!" which would see her play opposite Robert Downey Junior reprising his role of "Iron Man". While this is hardly anything concrete it would see the trio reunite since their excellent Kiss Kiss Bang Bang for the first time. Maybe Val Kilmer can play somebody gay in this one too? Any Gay Super-villains out there? Disney will release Iron Man 3 in theaters on May 3, 2013.
