Back in July 2008 MGM signed Darren Aronofsky [The Wrestler] to helm a remake of Paul Verhoeven’s Robocop. However, later that year the studios entered a new era of financial hell. Aronofsky decided to depart from the project and concentrate on directing his psychological thriller Black Swan. Today some very sleek images have hit the interweb via CBM of freelance concept artist Jason Hazelroth Robocop concept art which he has been redesigning since 2008.
