MTV clutched their fingers around composer Hans Zimmer at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards last night, where they literally tried to get as much info as possible from the composer. Zimmer quite humorously kept his trap shut stating he "maybe" knows which villains are involved [har har], but he did have a couple of things to say about the upcoming Bat flick, working with Christopher Nolan. and what relationship TDKR has thematically with the previous incarnations.
"Sure, but the thing about Chris and myself is, of course what we try to do is we treat each one with the autonomy it deserves. I try to invent and reinvent and not just go over old ground. I think that is the thing that was so exciting for people on The Dark Knight. They knew we were doing a Batman movie, but they had no idea it was going to be that sort of a Batman movie."
