Its hard to dislike Katee Sackhoff, her work can be described in so many ways, engaging, organic, faultless. Her performances are driven and real. Sackhoff is best known for her role of Starbuck in the excellent Battlestar Galactica reboot. Today she has signed on for a project called Sexy Evil Genius. The film centers around a woman who brings together various men she's dated into a downtown Los Angeles bar as part of a scheme to hatch the ultimate revenge.
The script is penned by Scott Lew who completed the screenplay against the adversity of Lou Gehrig's Disease, a degenerative medical condition that has paralyzed most of his body, including his ability to speak without the aid of a computer, the same malady suffered by Stephen Hawking. The writer stated, “When I started [the script], which was just over a year ago, I could still mumble a bit, so I dictated what I could and used my head to point out words that I couldn’t pronounce,” he notes. “That was a lot faster than now. I lost my speech completely in June of this year.” The news comes via THR.
