Oscar winner Marion Cotillard [Inception] has been offered the role of Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's next yet-to-be-titled Batman Film according to inside sources at Warner bros.
ComicBookMovie.com reported that Cotillard has been offered her choice of either Catwoman or Talia al Ghul in Nolan's third Batman project. Its source allegedly is a former Warner Bros. intern with some inside knowledge. The report says the source:

“… was apparently told today by someone they met during that time that the actress has been approached by the studio to play either Selina Kyle or Talia al Ghul.“They went on to tell me that Cotillard has had to turn down the offer as of now as she’s unsure whether the planned shooting start date of the next Batman movie will clash with other projects she’s either interested in or already committed to, despite the fact that she’s reportedly keen to re-team team with Christopher Nolan.”
Though this speculation is early Cotillard would automatically be a front runner in the Franchise. Her work in Inception was a prime example of her range & god knows Catwoman needs re-invention. She apparently turned down the role because of planned shooting schedule, this is hard to understand as the script has not even been completed let alone a production schedule.
