Synopsis: "Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created in ALIEN with ALIEN: COVENANT, the second chapter in a prequel trilogy that began with PROMETHEUS — and connects directly to Scott’s 1979 seminal work of science fiction. This looks overall like a good move, I don't think you really want to dive straight into that narrative of what Shaw & David do directly next. An aftermath may be more compelling & thrilling to discover. Noomi Rapace's character really lacked any purpose beyond flighty private self-meaning & faith. A new ship, a Colony ship: the Covenant, a new crew. Lets strip right down to the essentials & chew the fat, begin a new beat. Hopefully Scott can bring this franchise back to where it belongs.
