WOW, when Neill Blomkamp posted some very intriguing concept art of 1979's iconic Alien character Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) with Hicks (Michael Biehn) a couple of weeks back it seemed it was nothing more than just wishful thinking on everybody's part but today its confirmed that the movie is happening & its Blomkamp's next title. Not only that but according to reports Ridley Scott will produce via his production company Scott Free. The director just posted an image of H.R Giger's Xenomorph via his Instangram with the caption:: "Um... So I think it's officially my next film." That movie which is set in the “Alien” universe that will take place after Prometheus 2. Blomkamp previously stated he had hoped to work with original Alien star Weaver on the project, though she isn’t officially involved at this time. This can be a fantastic movie as long as they get the right scriptwriter & give Sharlto Copley a holiday.
