Paramount Pictures are currently negotiating distribution rights to Terminator 5 which is set to be produced by Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures & David Ellison’s Skydance Productions according to TheWrap. Screenwriters Laeta Kalogridis & Patrick Lussier were reined in early last year to script the next installment in the sci-fi series. Originally Fast Five director Justin Lin was on board to direct Terminator 5 when production was set to go ahead in December 2012, but 'fortunately the dude had to bail' in September 2011 so as to complete that cinematic masterpiece Fast & Furious 6. Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed on multiple occasion that he intends to be involved in the franchise’s next installement. Production could well start next year.
