Tom Hiddleston in Early Negotiations to Play 'THE CROW' in Relativity Media's Re-imagining!


Best known as Loki, God of Mischief, in Marvel Studios' Thor british actor Tom Hiddleston may well be donning a new guise in The Crow re-imagining. The Wrap reports that actor is early negotations to play Eric Draven in Relativity Media's reboot of James O' Barr's gothic cult comic character The Crow. Previously turned into a 1994 cult movie starring the late Brandon Lee, the story followed a man who returns from death to attain revenge on those who killed him. O'Barr wrote the original comic to deal with the death of his girlfriend. Spanish director F. Javier Guttierez is set to direct from a script by Cliff Dorfman. Production is slated to start in the fall. Hiddleston pushed for the role over dinner with the producers after doing his own make-up test in London with plans to do full makeup tests before making a final decision.
