Paramount Pictures has released a new poster & trailer for their upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie picture based on Max Brooks’ novel World War Z. Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Anthony Mackie, Matthew Fox, Julia Levy-Boeken, Bryan Cranston & James Badge Dale all star in the movie which follows the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse from the perspective of survivors as varied as mercenaries, US government officials & impoverished Palestinians. Set 10 years after a global zombie epidemic World War Z follows Max Brooks [Pitt], who driven by the urgency of preserving the acid-etched first-hand experiences of the survivors from those apocalyptic years, traveled across the United States of America and throughout the world, from decimated cities that once teemed with upwards of thirty million souls to the most remote and inhospitable areas of the planet. He recorded the testimony of men, women, and sometimes children who came face-to-face with the living, or at least the undead, hell of that dreadful time. World War Z arrives this June 21st.
