The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has officially started shooting in Georgia Francis Lawrence's sequel will shoot "in & near" Atlanta before moving to locations in Hawaii. The highly anticipated follow up to The Hunger Games Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci & Donald Sutherland. Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen [Lawrence] has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual 'Hunger Games' along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark [Hutcherson]. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family & close friends, embarking on a 'Victor's Tour' of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is emerging but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever. Production is slated to wrap in late December. Lionsgate have also announced the launch of a global sweepstakes which will give fans the opportunity to win a visit to the "Catching Fire" set. To enter, participants are being asked to upload a 30 second video at catchingfiresweeps.com with their number one question for the film's cast. The contest runs from September 10-October 12. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters November 22nd 2013.
