Winona Ryder is in negotiations to join the cast of Millennium Films' Homefront. The actress will star opposite the previously-attached Jason Statham & the recently-announced James Franco in director Gary Fleder action thriller, adapted by Sylvester Stallone. Homefront which is based on a book by Chuck Logan, centers on a retired DEA agent [Statham] whose quiet town happens to be seething with drugs & violence, run by a kingpin named Gator [Franco]. When the Agent's family is threatened he is forced back into action to save his loved ones & the town. Ryder will according to THR play a biker who teams with Franco's drug dealing villain. Child actor Izabela Vidovic is also boarding the production, which is slated to begin next month in New Orleans.
