The Japanese Trailer for Marvel's 'THE AVENGERS' Features Tons of New Footage!

Marvel have released another international trailer for Joss Whedon's The Avengers & it features a lot of new stuff. The movie which stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson opens in 3D on May 4th 2012. The trailer features a bunch of new footage for example, our first look of Pepper Potts [Gwyneth Paltrow], Maria Hill [Cobie Smulders] speaking & a long shot of the wormhole that opens up above Stark Tower allowing all the uninvited to come through. Best yet are the views of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier & the line from Tony Stark [Robert Downey Jr.] at the end: "If we can't protect the earth, you can be damn sure we'll avenge it." Hit the jump for the details.
