Jose Padilha's reboot of RoboCop appears to have found its Cop. Deadline reports that Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman [The Killing, Snabba Cash] has been offered the role of Officer Alex Murphy. The movie is a reboot of the 1987 Paul Verhoeven hit which will once again tell the story of a police officer who, after nearly being killed in the line of duty, is rebuilt as a crime-fighting cyborg.
