A lot of attention gathered around Ridley Scott's return to the Blade Runner universe this week & the supposed involvement & return of Harrison Ford to the reboot /sequel /prequel. Alas the rumors were eventually shot down when EW questioned the director himself. Scott himself denied Ford's involvement & also dropped some pretty interesting comments in regards to his upcoming return to the Alien universe with Prometheus. In fact the director hinted at the possibility of a sequel. Hit the jump for the details.
Scott stated:
Ridley Scott: "Right. I just thought Prometheus was so enjoyable — returning to the world of science fiction was so fun — that I wanted to [return to Blade Runner, too]. I’m also thinking about what the hell I might do for a Prometheus 2."
When asked if there would be a Prometheus 2, Scott replied by with a grin and a knock on the wooden table. Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Guy Pearce, Rafe Spall, Benedict Wong, Emun Elliott & hits theaters this June 8th in the UK & June 1st in the UK.
