Four new images from Lionsgate's adaption Dredd have been unveiled. The movie is directed by Pete Travis [Vantage Point] from a script by Alex Garland [28 Days Later, Sunshine]. Karl Urban stars as Judge Dredd & is joined by Olivia Thirlby, Lena Headey, Deobia Oparei, Jason Cope & Domhnall Gleeson. This new adaptation of Judge Dredd is said to be more faithful to the popular 2000ad comic strip than the 1995 version which starred Sylvester Stallone. Dredd takes us to the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone oasis of quasi-civilization on Cursed Earth. Dredd is the most feared of elite Street Judges, with the power to enforce the law, sentence offenders & execute them on the spot if necessary. Dredd hits theaters in 3D this September 21st.
