Eva Green has signed on to play the 'scheming' Artemisia in the 300 sequel titled 300: Battle of Artemisia. The 31 year old French actress will join Sullivan Stapleton in the follow-up to director Zack Snyder's original 2006 film, an adaptation of Frank Miller’s graphic novel 300. Noam Murro will direct the sequel. THR report that Stapleton will play Persian king Xerxes in the film which is believed to follow Xerxes as he leads a poorly trained army against the Greeks.
