Universal have released a new trailer & poster for Peter Berg's Battleship. The May 18th, 2012 release is an epic action-adventure flick based on Hasbro's popular board game which unfolds across the seas, in the skies & over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. From the trailer it’s clear director Berg, Universal & the marketing team have been very much influenced by Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise. Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam, a physical therapist & Hopper's fiancée, Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper's older brother, Commanding Officer Stone of the USS Samson; Rihanna as Lt.
