A bunch of new photos have been released from director Andrew Stanton's John Carter. SFX unveil six more photos & state a new trailer is coming next week. The movie is an adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic novel which tells the story of veteran John Carter [Taylor Kitsch], who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the alien inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas [Willem Dafoe] & Princess Dejah Thoris [Lynn Collins]. In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom & its people rests in his hands.
