Rose McGowan had signed on to play the lead in Michael Kerr's romantic thriller Napa. McGowan will play Scarlett Harding "a woman who after three tours of duty in Afghanistan returns to her hometown, where she is given the job of sheriff." THR report that Kerr penned the script with Hans Ostrom, based on Ostrom's novel Three to Get Ready. Napa is of course the California County located north of San Francisco, a region synonymous with wine making. The movie is Kerr's directorial debut & he is also producing & financing the project himself. Ellen Wander will executive producer with Film Bridge taking care of international sales.
