Nicolas Cage has joined the cast of Brian Goodman's low budget psycho-thriller Black Butterfly. The German movie marks the first English-language film from production group Bavariapool. THR also report that German actress Veronica Ferres is attached to co-star. Cage however "will play the reclusive author Paul, who befriends a drifter, with fatal consequences." The movie is based on the 2008 French TV thriller of the same name Papillon noir, which starred Stephane Freiss & Eric Cantona. Shooting is set to begin early 2012 in Germany.
