While it took place a few days ago without much attention made to it 20th Century Fox have updated their Synopsis for Ridley Scott's prequelesque© Prometheus. The update took place via the movies facebook page, the page which everyone thought was fake ;). Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Guy Pearce, Rafe Spall & Logan Marshall-Green. The movie hits theaters June 8th 2012. Updated Synopsis: "Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race."
So there you go, some details. Not too far from a couple of story-lines I have heard floating around, in fact its pretty much been inline with all the main rumors up to now. Now all we can do is wait for Fox to take their finger out & release some God damned footage before the magical mystery tour starts becoming redundant.
