Spike Lee's adaption of Old Boy is months away from production & twitchfilm claims to have some pretty interesting details. According to the site Rooney Mara [The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo] is wanted for the female lead. Old Boy is a remake of Park Chan-wook's movie of the same name [in turn an adaption of late '90's manga series by Garon Tsuchiya & Nobuaki Minegishi] that focused on a man, Joe [Dae-su Oh] who is captured and imprisoned in a hotel room for 15 years for no apparent reason. When he is suddenly released, he's given four days to find out the reason of his imprisonment. Mara would be playing opposite Josh Brolin who has already signed on to play Joe. Lee is set to direct the movie from a script by Mark Protosevich.
