Columbia Pictures have released the full extended theatrical trailer for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The movie stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer, Stellan Skarsgård, Steven Berkoff, Robin Wright, Yorick van Wageningen & Joely Richardson. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the first movie in the studio's trilogy adaptation of Stieg Larsson's literary blockbuster 'The Millennium Trilogy'. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is based on the first novel in the trilogy that sold over 50 million copies in 46 countries becoming a worldwide phenomenon. Fincher's adaption hits theaters on December 21st. The trailer is a condensed version of the eight-minute trailer that was shown at the Sony/Columbia screenings last week. Synopsis: "Harriet Vanger, a scion of one of Sweden’s wealthiest families disappeared over forty years ago. All these years later, her aged uncle continues to seek the truth.
