Revolution Films Release the First Trailer for Michael Winterbottom's 'TRISHNA' starring Freida Pinto.

Forgetting 9 Songs & The Killer inside me Michael Winterbottom is an awesome director, exceptional at what he does. His latest offering Trishna which stars Freida Pinto & Riz Ahmed has just had a first teaser released by Revolution Films. A non-dialogue yet quite charming glimpse into the emotional landscape of the film which is an adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s literary classic tragedy Tess of the d’Urbervilles that is set against a contemporary Indian backdrop. Pinto stars as the titular 'Trishna', a young woman who is seduced by the wealthy son of a property developer. As the romance develops, their relationship becomes increasingly sordid and volatile.
