Paramount Pictures have unveiled the first image of Charlize Theron in Jason Reitman’s [Up in the Air] upcoming Young Adult [via /Film]. Theron plays 'Mavis Gary', a divorced successful novelist who moves back home to pursue an old flame who just had a baby. Young Adult also stars Patton Oswalt, Patrick Wilson & Elizabeth Reaser with a script by Diablo Cody. The film hits theaters December 16th 2011. Hit the jump for the details.
Synopsis: "Academy Award® winner Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary, a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson).
