Josh Brolin is Spike Lee's 'OLD BOY' in South Korean Revenge Remake!

Josh Brolin has signed on the dotted line to become both Spike Lee's & Mandate Pictures' Old Boy. This reboot of Park Chan-Wook's 2003 twisted Asia Extreme revenge picture Oldboy, the man [Min-sik Choi] who gets imprisoned for 15 years for reasons unknown to him, one day he is freed and an epic tale of revenge ensues. Deadline break the story & also state that Lee hopes to shoot it in March 2012. The reboot of the South Korean movie will be adapted by Mark Protosevich, who will also co-produce. Roy Lee & Doug Davison will produce via Vertigo Entertainment with Lee’s 40 Acres & A Mule. Mandate president Nathan Kahane will executive produce. There had been rumors attaching Brolin to the picture for some time so maybe its worth mentioning that Christian Bale has been rumored to be playing the piece’s villain.
