A new poster & US trailer have been released for Perdo Almodovar's The Skin I Live In, a dark & disturbing adaption of Thierry Jonquet's novel Tarantula. Antonio Banderas stars as the illusive and brilliant Dr Robert Ledgard playing God to create ‘the perfect skin’ through transgenesis; skin which can resist burning and fights disease. His ethically questionable experiments are carried out on a mysterious woman he keeps in isolation, named Vera. Suffice to say both characters’ pasts slowly unravel and all is not what it seems. Synopsis: "Ever since his wife was burned in a car crash, Dr. Robert Ledgard, an eminent plastic surgeon, has been interested in creating a new skin with which he could have saved her.
