During Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, the first official teaser from Lionsgate's highly anticipated adaption of Suzanne Collin's novel The Hunger Games debuted. The upcoming adaptation of the first novel in the bestselling, young adult trilogy is directed by Gary Ross & scheduled ti hit theaters March 23rd 2012. The clip was introduced by Jennifer Lawrence who plays Katniss Everdeen, the young heroine of the trilogy & featured her running though the woods during the games.
