On the evening of its world premiere at the 68th Venice Film Festival the first clip has been released via Yahoo! of a scene from George Clooney’s latest directorial offering The Ides of March. The political drama also stars Clooney as a Presidential nominee whose campaign becomes marred by a scandal when a young, idealistic speech writer [Ryan Gosling] gets dragged into the world of dirty politics. The first clip My Name is Molly features some flirty banter between Gosling and a young intern [Evan Rachel Wood]. The movie will play at the Toronto International Film Festival before opening nationwide this October 7th. Hit the jump to check it out.
