Charlize Theron & Guy Pearce Briefly Talk Ridley Scott & 'PROMETHEUS'!

Charlize Theron who plays Company operative 'Meredith Vickers' & Guy Pearce who plays an undisclosed role [albeit small signs give clues that his role is not so small after all] both briefly commented in recent interviews on their experiences on board Ridley Scott's highly anticipated Prometheus. This is the first movie since John Hillcoat's 2009 big screen adaption of Cormac McCarthy's The Road that both actors are involved in. Hit the jump for the details.

Theron stated how director Ridley Scott inspired her to seek out roles of strength in the first place & specifically Sigourney Weaver's portrayal of 'Ripley' in Scott's 1979 Alien.
Theron: "I do think that Ridley Scott really was the first person who took full advantage of how you could explore not only that genre but themes that I think only men in cinema had been allowed to explore. And the great thing about him is that I think it lives under his skin. I think."
Pearce recently gave a video interview with Collider and although the actor remains unequivocally & admirably a safe when it comes to getting any info on Prometheus, Pearce did mention what it feels like to work with Scott on Prometheus.
Pearce: "Ridley is brilliant, a very sensitive & gentle Guy who has an incredable fascination for history & human psychology. He show real compassion & sensitivity towards actors, towards what they need & require, he's fantastic to work for."
Kind Thankyou's to Collider & ShowbizSpy
