Bradley Cooper Passes on 'THE CROW' Reboot As Channing Tatum & Mark Wahlberg Circle.

Bradley Cooper [The Hangover] is no longer attached to Relativity Media's reboot of The Crow. THR break the news & also go so far as to disclose that Channing Tatum & Mark Wahlberg are both candidates to replace Cooper, who lets face it would have been one seriously bizarre casting in the first place. The reboot will be directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo [28 Weeks Later] & is described as a gritty reboot, that once again tells the story of 'Eric Draven', who returns from the grave to avenge the death of his wife. Scripted by Fresnadillo with Alex Tse contributing rewrites. Cooper apparently departed the project due to scheduling conflicts between The Crow & Paradise Lost, in which Cooper plays 'Lucifer'. Wahlberg had already been attached to the project last October but I don't think "Marky Mark" does goth. The reboot is also in arbitration as to whether the Weinsteins or Relativity own the distribution rights. I don't think we really need a reboot of The Crow, the soundtrack alone is one that cannot be outdone let alone the original picture.
