Production has ended on David Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, but actor Alan Dale [Lost] has joined the cast, well maybe more appropriately joined the credits. Variety reports that the actor has been cast as a "career detective on the verge of retirement." Obviously not a very large role. The movie was adapted from Steig Larsson's novel of the same name by Steven Zaillian & stars Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright & Stellan Skarsgård. The film arrives in theaters on December 21st.
