Rosario Dawson will star in Danny Boyle's new film Trance report Deadline. The film set to be released in 2013 is a thriller about an art heist that goes wrong. Vincent Cassel has also signed on to star in the film. Dawson's credits include Rent and Unstoppable. Boyle recently directed the National Theatre's production of Frankenstein. The director won as Academy Award for Slumdog Millionaire. Hit the jump for the details.
Synopsis: "An assistant at an auction house masterminds the heist and teams up with a gang of thieves, but suffers a blow to the head and wakes up with amnesia. He is the only one who knows where the painting’s location is and after his continued failure to remember, the gang begins to suspect duplicity on his part and hire a female hypnotist to get into his brain."
Production on Trance will begin in September & then will be put on a shelf while Boyle heads off to direct the summer Olympics in London. The director will pick it back up again in August 2012 for editing and then release it in March 2013.
