Marvel have today unveiled via the movies official website the first poster for The Avengers, written and directed by Joss Whedon. The superhero frenzy stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Clark Gregg, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård & Amanda Righetti. The Avengers hits theaters May 4th 2012. Hit the jump to check it out.
