Lionsgate have unleashed a new extended Red Band trailer from their upcoming fantasy action-adventure flick Conan the Barbarian 3D. Last week we got a glimpse of a super violent 18+ teaser on their official facebook page, today we get Conan's childhood. The film stars Jason Momoa, stepping into the sandals and loin cloth of Conan the Barbarian, Rose McGowan, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, Rachel Nichols, Leo Howard, Saïd Taghmaoui & Bob Sapp. Hit the jump to check it out.
Synopsis:
Conan the Barbarian 3D’ is based on Robert E. Howard’s mythical conqueror Conan the Barbarian, the new film adaptation is expected to be more faithful to the source material than the Arnold Schwarzenegger films. The movie tells the “tale of Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.” Expect kick-ass fantastical shenanigans in abundance when ‘Conan The Barbarian 3D’ hits cinemas August 24th in the UK and August 19th in the US.
