Colombia Pictures Reveal Awesome 'TOTAL RECALL' Remake Future Police Force @ComicCon!

Comic-Con is underway & the first worthy images are coming through. The futuristic police force of Len Wiseman's upcoming Total Recall remake have hit the streets of San Diego. The excellent ComingSoon.net managed to capture some awesome shots of a couple of them plus their vehicle which were set up across the street from the convention center in the very early hours. The remake is currently filming and scheduled for an August 3rd, 2012 release. Hit the jump to check out the images.

Its not the first glimpse we have of the future troopers and their car, but I have to say Laurent Ben-Mimoun & the movies art department have done an awesome job. Total Recall remakes director Paul Verhoeven's 1990 big screen adaptation of the short Philip K. Dick story, We Can Remember It For You Wholesale. The original starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as 'Douglas Quaid' [now Colin Farrell.] As the nation states Euromerica and New Shanghai vie for supremacy, a factory worker begins to suspect that he's a spy, though he is unaware which side of the fight he's on. Wiseman's version also stars Bryan Cranston, Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel & John Cho. Click on images for larger view.
