A concept poster for Lionsgate's 'Nurse 3D' has arrived. The movie is described as a "psycho-sexual" 3D thriller. The woman in the poster is Paz De La Huerta [Boardwalk Empire] who will play 'Abby Russell' the central character in the story, "a beautiful, dedicated nurse with a sinister side, and a secret life’s work targets and punishes dishonest men." The movie directed by Douglas Aarniokoski, is inspired by the "fantastical sado-masochistic nurses" photographs of Lionsgate Chief Marketing Officer Tim Palen. Hit the jump to check it out.
Palen is described as "a well-known tastemaker within the horror genre and the photographer behind the image above. "Lionsgate President of Production, Mike Paseornek stated:
"In his original nurse photos and the fan conversation that ensued, Tim had clearly scratched the surface of a very great concept. The idea of a film noir depiction of a beautiful nurse who uses her sexuality to very severe ends.” He adds, “That concept was the perfect germ for this thrilling story, which will be extremely visceral in 3D."
