JAMES BADGE DALE Joins BRAD PITT In Paramount's $125 Million dollar Apocalyptic Zombie Flick


Marc Forster's World War Z has continued casting, James Badge Dale [TV miniseries The Pacific] has signed on to the $125 million dollar adaption report Variety. The movie is based on Max Brooks' novel about a worldwide infestation of flesh-eating zombies. The novel is structured as a series of interviews, and ones that happen to be after the events described by the characters although its unknown whether the screenplay by J. Michael Straczynski will follow suit. Brad Pitt is already attached to star as a U.N. researcher. Badge Dale is set to play a military officer who experiences a first encounter with the threat of the undead. "Ten years after the human victory over the world wide Zombie epidemic, referred to as World War Z, Max Brooks scours the world collecting the stories and experiences of those who have survived the conflict that almost eradicated humanity." Mireille Enos and Anthony Mackie are both attached to the movie. Paramount have slated production to begin now for a summer 2012 release.
