Fox Searchlight have released a featurette in which David Fincher and Christopher Nolan discuss the work and influence of Terrence Malick. Unless you have been buried underground since the Cuban missile crisis or are not particularly a fan of film then you will know that not only is Malick one of the most important American directors in the last 50 years, the director transcends his medium and in Europe is seen as one of the most relevant American artists in the last 200 years. Its primarily created to make audiences aware of The Tree of Life and gives some really nice glimpses of the films "texture" which as any Malick fan will tell you [every student of film] is completely breathtaking.
