Lionsgate have just announced that actor Wes Bentley [American Beauty] has been cast in the role of "Seneca Crane" the "Head Gamemaker" of the 74th Hunger Games in the adaptation of Suzanne Collins' worldwide best-seller. Bentley joins Jennifer Lawrence as "Katniss Everdeen" Willow Shields as her little sister "Primrose," Josh Hutcherson as "Peeta Mellark," Liam Hemsworth as "Gale Hawthorne," Paula Malcomson will play Katniss' mother and Elizabeth Banks will play Katniss' pre-games handler "Effie Trinket".
