Paramount Pictures have released highlights from Wednesday evening’s dialogue between filmmakers James Cameron and Michael Bay where the duo discussed the use of 3D in the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon. In a run-up to the release of the movies trailer [in 3D] on Friday May 20th with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, a press event called "3D A Transforming Visual Art Conversation with Michael Bay and James Cameron" was held. Cameron has been Hollywood's biggest proponent of the new technology, responsible for the evolutionary boom that has hit the industry. Though Bay shot his upcoming Transformers film in 3D, he wasn't always enamored of the format and, together, he and Cameron discuss the pros and cons of going 3D. Hit the jump to check out the video.
