The first image from David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis has been revealed and in it with we the familiar chin of Robert Pattinson. Cosmopolis is based on Don DeLillo's novel about newlywed billionaire "Eric Packer" [Pattinson] who ends up losing his wife and fortune in a single day which unfortunately lands him in the centre of a fierce assassination plot set over 24 hours. Pattinson is joined by cast members including Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Mathieu Amalric, Kevin Durand & Sarah Gadon. Coincidentally the image that has been released from the upcoming film was taken by Cronenberg’s daughter Caitlin Cronenberg. Check out the films site here. The film is slated to arrive in mid 2012.
