Even if you don't understand what the hell the Film's about, its worth taking a look at the promo [the best we have seen] for Emmet Matthew Farrell's "Fracture", the Film is based on two previous short Films the director shot dealing with the same subject matter, but ultimately deserved a feature length treatment. Le synopses: The Film tells the story of "Mark" the survivor of a horrific vehicle accident who loses his partner in the same car accident. Mark starts to re-create the accident over and over again, crash by crash convinced he can cross over at the moment of impact and reach his partner in Limbo. Hit the Jump.
The director stated "The goal is now to make its budget of 100K within the next 12 months to shoot the feature film, and we have set up a system, if you donate $1 Dollar you will get your own copy of the finished Feature Film as a digital download when completed." Thats still an ultra low budget for an indie feature but as far as I know they had no budget with the Promo. So visit supportfracture.com, share, like and if you want support, spread it around like a sexual virus to all of your friends and then pat each other on back. What I did like about the Promo is that it genuinely looks original, minimal yes but reminiscent of David Cronenberg or Zack Snyder's "raw videoesque" earlier works. We know the director in question so we will give further updates on the production. If you have a blog, they would appreciate coverage. A.D.
