Its looking more like a Battlestar Galactica reunion for Ron Moore's upcoming NBC pilot 17th Precinct, which is excellent news. James Callis and Tricia Helfer who played Gaius Balter and Six [Cylon #6] respectfully have now joined former BSG castmate Jamie Bamber. Deadline report that Helfer is set to play a necromancer named "Morgana" who will be "the magical equivalent of a coroner, who is an expert at manipulating the potions, tools, herbs and spells of her trade." Callis will play "Jeff", "a homicide detective at the 17th Precinct who is slender and has long dark hair and a British accent." Spearheaded by Sony Pictures Television the pilot, a police procedural which is due to hit screens in the fall takes place in the fictional town of Excelsior, where magic and supernatural elements take precedence over science. Other
cast members [lucky B*****ds] include Stockard Channing, Matt Long, and Eamonn Walker.
